Data-driven design is a catch-all word for computational design aims including geometry rationalization (making things more constructible) and form-finding (the process of exploring shape suitability). While rationalization has enabled the creation of complex, freeform surfaces in many examples of modern architecture, it is also relevant to more traditional projects that must be built in the most efficient manner feasible. Medialogic has extensive expertise working on complicated rationalization issues with major design, construction, and manufacturing businesses.

While rationalization has made possible the complicated, freeform surfaces present in many instances of contemporary architecture, it is equally applicable to more conventional projects that nonetheless still need to be constructed in the most efficient way possible.
